Parishi Rental Services has successfully pumped 500 M³ of concrete through an extended 435-meter pipeline at Diu Fort. The complexity of this project involved 4 – 90° bends, 4 – 60° bends, and 145 segments of 3-meter-long pipes.

A team of 20 pipeline experts and 3 dedicated supervisors – Mr. Satish, Mr. Rajendra, and Mr. Yash – played a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth laying, fitting, and assembly of the pipeline. Meanwhile, the client Mr. Parth from RKC Infrabuild Pvt. Ltd. focused on producing M30 temperature-controlled concrete with precise mix adjustments to ensure seamless pumping.

Technical Challenges in Longest Concrete Pumping Project

• Pipeline Laying Over Ocean Staging – Approximately 80% of the staging was constructed over the ocean floor, requiring a robust two-story and three-story iron rod fabrication system.
• Vertical Pipeline Integration – The final concrete pouring required the pipeline to be placed vertically at the project endpoint.
• Continuous Chokage & Jam Clearance – First-time pumping through the entire 435-meter-long pipeline required persistent hammering to prevent concrete blockages.
• Concrete Pumping Under Extreme Heat – Due to high temperatures, moisture loss in concrete made pumping increasingly difficult.
• Specialized Mix Design – Since river sand was unavailable, a customized mix of crushed stone sand, GGBS, and dust was used with admixtures to ensure a consistent flow.
